Reimagining reparations: Duo launches foundation to bridge ancestral divides

The Quarterman & Keller Foundation, founded by descendants of both an enslaved man and his enslaver, has developed a grassroots reparations model focused on land preservation and education in Georgia. Through this partnership, the foundation has provided over 75 scholarships and funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars in inherited wealth into social justice fellowships and the preservation of Black history.
