UPDATE: Jasper VA active shooter suspect shot
At approximately 1:30 PM, Jasper Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired at the VA Clinic in Jasper. Upon arrival, officers located a victim and the suspected shooter on scene. The individual was confronted by responding officers and was subsequently shot during the encounter. This is a developing situation.
