Middle school fight leaves teen with severe burns
Police in Villa Rica are investigating a disturbing middle school fight that left a 14-year-old girl hospitalized with second- and third-degree burns. The incident happened Saturday at an apartment complex on Anderson Road and was captured on video. The victim’s mother says her daughter had endured months of bullying before someone threw boiling liquid mixed with a chemical on her back. Villa Rica police say those involved could face battery or aggravated assault charges as the investigation continues.
