Vision To Learn provides free glasses to Cobb County kids
A wonderful community effort is underway in Cobb County today to ensure local students have the clear vision they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. The national nonprofit organization Vision To Learn has rolled its specialized mobile clinic into the parking lot of the Powder Springs Library. The on-site team is providing comprehensive eye exams and prescription glasses entirely free of charge to children and teens aged 5 to 18. About 40 registered children are scheduled to climb aboard the mobile clinic to get their eyes checked by licensed professionals and personally pick out their very own brand-new frames.
