Baltimore Active Shooter; Suspicious package in NYC
Tuesday, March 10, 2026 — A wave of police activity is unfolding across both Baltimore and New York City this afternoon. A Baltimore police officer has been hospitalized following an active shooter event, while the NYPD has cordoned off the area around the Mayor’s residence due to a suspicious package for the second time in 72 hours. Just this past Saturday, March 7, two Pennsylvania teenagers—Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi—were arrested for allegedly throwing TATP-filled IEDs at a protest outside the mansion.
