Suspect identified in the shooting at Rihanna’s home
The Los Angeles Police Department has identified the suspect in Sunday’s daylight shooting at Rihanna’s home as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz. The Florida woman was apprehended in Sherman Oaks shortly after allegedly firing up to 10 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle at the singer’s residence while the family was inside.The incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. on March 8, 2026. Police allege Ortiz pulled up to the property in a white Tesla and discharged an AR-15-style rifle. According to investigators, at least four rounds struck the house, while others hit a front gate and an Airstream trailer parked in the driveway.
