Rookie deputy stops felon after high-speed chase in Fayette
Fayette County rookie deputy helped take down a 24-year-old felon after a Black Friday traffic stop turned into a high-speed chase. Investigators say the suspect arrested after a PIT maneuver, run, and then was caught by the rookie cop — just two weeks on the job. Deputies recovered a gun, more than 3 pounds of marijuana, and other items. The suspect has multiple open felony cases.
