Fire destroys South River Arts Studio

A massive fire at the South River Arts Studio has devastated Atlanta’s artist community, destroying workspaces and commissioned pieces for nearly 30 of the 40 artists who worked there. FOX 5’s Eli Jordan spoke with several creators trying to salvage what they can, including a woodworker who lost his entire studio and sole source of income for the past decade. Supporters are planning fundraisers, including a concert Sunday at 8 p.m. at North Highland Supermarket.
