Texas Democratic standoff continues

Democrats in Texas walked out of a special session of the Texas legislature, forcing a lack of quorum. The political move was an attempt to stop U.S. congressional districts being redrawn. Traditionally, district are redrawn after each census every decade, but the rare more, Democrats argue, is an attempt to jerrymander GOP control. Repuiblicans says it is necessary due to the population shift.
