Aftermath of Hurricane Helene causes wildfire threat

It’s been nearly nine months since Hurricane Helene blew through The Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee and now, many of the trees the storm took down in the region’s forests last year are making it harder for crews to fight wildfires this year.
