LaGrange Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the armed robbers who investigators said forced their way inside Devin Cunningham’s apartment at Lee’s Crossing Apartment in LaGrange.

"I was scared, but I was more scared for for family for my son and my girlfriend more than anything,” said Cunningham.

Cunningham said he heard a knock at his door at around five Thursday evening and thought it was his cousin, but when he opened the door it was someone else.

“I opened the door and there was just a guy standing and he looked up,” said Cunningham. “The other dude stepped from around the door and he hit me with a pistol.”

Cunningham said he tried to close the door, but six to seven men burst into his apartment. He believes all the men were armed and said one of them even had a riffle.

“He told me, get on the floor and I laid on the floor, was not worth losing my life over,” said Cunningham. “He had the gun actually to my back.”

Cunningham’s girlfriend said the crooks held their two-year-old son at gunpoint. The parents said the toddler who has Epilepsy, was so frightened by the situation that he had a seizure.

“The whole time I was like let me check on my son,” said Selena Deloach. “They were like no.”

LaGrange Police said the crooks took off with an x-box, laptop, cell phones, sneakers and the victim’s tax return money.  Detectives have arrested Demarcus Parks and are now looking for Daniel Harris.  Investigators are working on identifying the other men involved.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call the LaGrange Police Department or Troup County Crime Stoppers 706.812.1000.
