STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - A Saturday night vehicle crash in Henry County caused an equipment failure that cut power to hundreds of Georgia Power customers.

A spokesperson for Georgia Power said a car crash on Saturday night led to power outages for roughly 900 customers.
Repair crews arrived at the scene and worked throughout Sunday to fix the damaged equipment.
Although Georgia Power estimated full restoration by 10 p.m. Sunday, the utility company's outage map showed more than 200 customers still without electricity at 10:20 p.m. Sunday.
The majority of those affected are located in the Eagles Landing area.
