A Griffin neighborhood is fearful and on edge after a shootout late Sunday night.

Police said dozens of shots were fired at the intersection of Johnson Poole Road and North 2nd Street. No one was hurt, according to officers. However, one home was riddled with bullet holes.

Linda Davis showed FOX 5 News the damage. She counted nearly 10 bullet holes in the walls and the porch furniture at her house. Davis said she was at home with her children and grandchildren at the time of the shooting. She hid them in a bathtub while she took to the floor.

"It's dumb, stupid and senseless," Davis said. "They could've killed me, my grandkids. I have a daughter..."

Griffin Police said a large crowd gathered at a party outside in the neighborhood when two men began to argue. Soon after that, gunshots rang out. Police plan to look at surveillance video from a nearby store to see what happened and find who's at fault.

They investigated witnesses' reports that two men were shot. But there was no record of gunshot victims from that night at local hospitals, according to detectives.

In the meantime, Davis hopes the shooters stop the violence and turn themselves in.

"Don't take my family from me because you have something to prove to the streets," Davis said.
