A new marketplace highlighting Salvadoran culture has opened in Atlanta’s Sylvan Hills neighborhood, one of the city’s largest food deserts.

What we know:

Mayor Andre Dickens attended the ribbon-cutting for "La Bodega and Pupuseria," which offers fresh Georgia-grown produce, goods from local entrepreneurs and frozen pupusas.

Owners said they hope to provide a healthy, family-friendly space for the community.
