Police: Marietta Man assaulted woman in her own home

MARIETTA, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police said a Marietta man attacked a woman in her own home on Friday.

Kendal Chaves tapped on the victim’s window early Friday morning, according to officials.

Officials said Chaves forced his way into her home when she opened her front door. Once inside, official said Chaves physically and sexually assaulted her.

Police said Chavez was in custody Monday afternoon, charged with intent to rape, burglary, and battery.
