DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The name of the man gunned down in the middle of a busy DeKalb County intersection Wednesday afternoon.
Police said 29-year-old Michael Brooks was in the parking lot of the ATL Wings restaurant located near the corner of Glenwood Avenue near Candler Road around noon when a man in a black pickup truck pulled up, got out and started firing.
Police identified 42-year-old Rico King as the gunman. Witnesses said he calmly returned to his truck and took off down Glenwood Avenue. A witness saw what happened and followed the King until police could stop him.
Police arrested King shortly after that and charged him with murder.
