'Suspicious' fire at abandoned Atlanta bank

Firefighters quickly knocked down a suspicious fire at a vacant building on Lakewood Avenue in southeast Atlanta early Wednesday evening. One person was detained.

Firefighters quickly knocked down a suspicious fire at a vacant building on Lakewood Avenue in southeast Atlanta early Wednesday evening.

No one was found inside, according to fire officials.

Investigators say a person has been detained, but no charges have been confirmed.

Fire officials said they believe the fire may have been intentionally set.

While officials stopped short of calling the fire arson, firefighters described the circumstances as "suspicious."
