Police investigate deadly shooting at southwest Atlanta apartment
Atlanta Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed on Feb. 10 at an apartment complex located on Campbellton Road.
ATLANTA - Police are on the scene of a shooting death at a southwest Atlanta apartment building.
The shooting happened at an apartment complex on the 2300 block of Campbellton Road SW shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday. Atlanta police said officers arrived at the scene after receiving a 911 call to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound outside the building.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Grady EMS.
Officials have confirmed that the victim is a man but have not released his identity.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the deadly shooting.
