PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - A man is in critical condition after a shooting early Friday morning in Paulding County, according to the sheriff’s office.
What we know:
Deputies responded just after 6 a.m. to the 200 block of Wallace Way in Rockmart, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the "individuals" believed to be responsible left the scene before deputies arrived. Investigators with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division are working to determine what led to the shooting.
