The 9-month-old child reported missing out of Barrow County has been found, according to the sheriff's office.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Levi's Call, Georgia’s version of an Amber Alert, for the missing 9-month-old out of Barrow County earlier today, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The sheriff's office says that the child is now safe and the child's father who allegedly took him without permission, Cesar Martinez, was arrested. Both DeKalb and Gwinnett County police helped find the child and return him to his mother.

The father will be transported to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office. He is facing charges of simple battery and interference with custody.

What we don't know:

A mug shot has not been released for Martinez at this time.
