Pedestrian struck on I-75 early Wednesday

A pedestrian was struck shortly after midnight Wednesday in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Moores Mill Road. Also, a 36-year-old man was shot on MLK Jr. Drive near West Lake Avenue on Tuesday night. 

Interstate 75 is back open after a crash involving a pedestrian shut down the northbound lanes for several hours early Wednesday.

What we know:

The crash happened after midnight on I-75 northbound near Moores Mill Road.

Atlanta police closed the interstate while officers investigated the crash. The northbound lanes have since reopened.

What we don't know:

Police have not released details about what led to the crash or the condition of the pedestrian.
