ATLANTA - Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp says the streets of Georgia are much safer thanks to the ongoing efforts of the Georgia State Patrol's Crime Suppression Unit.
Kemp posted about the unit on social media yesterday. The unit was launched in 2021.
Kemp says there have been nearly 1,000 arrests of people wanted for crimes, including 41 murder suspects. He also says 785 stolen vehicles have been returned to their owners.
