COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a late-night shooting at the Rockledge Apartments that left one man hospitalized.

Officers were called to the complex on Powers Ferry Road around 11:49 p.m. Thursday after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital and was reported to be stable at time of transport. His exact condition is unknown.
One person was detained at the scene, but detectives are still working to determine his role in the incident. Police say the possible suspects involved in the shooting had already left the area before officers arrived.
