Interview with stars of A Complete Unknown
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken interviews the stars of "A Complete Unknown," which tells the story behind Bob Dylan's iconic songs.
ATLANTA - When Academy Award nominations are announced next month, it’s a safe bet that Timothée Chalamet will be on the list for Best Actor.
Chalamet plays music legend Bob Dylan in the highly-anticipated biopic "A Complete Unknown," opening nationwide on Christmas Day from Searchlight Pictures. The actor — who’s already scored Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations for this work in the film — has been preparing for the role for the past five years, learning to play dozens of Dylan classics and performing them live while filming.
"This artist's music legacy is untouchable, and is really profound," says Chalamet of Dylan.
"A Complete Unknown" also stars Georgia-native Elle Fanning as Dylan’s girlfriend; Fanning has already scored the National Board of Review’s Best Supporting Actress honor for her work in the movie.
"I was technically born in Decatur," Fanning told us about her Georgia roots during a recent interview. "But my grandmother grew up in Covington…my whole family is from Conyers [and] Covington."
