Frost Advisory Issued For All Of North Georgia

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for all of north Georgia until 8 am Monday morning. There is also a Freeze Warning in effect for Towns, Union and Rabun county in northeast Georgia as well as Clay county in NC through 8 am. 

Temperatures will drop into the upper 30's to around 40 for most of north Georgia with lows in the low to mid 30's in the mountains. Although frost will not be widespread their will be patchy areas that could do damage to tender vegetation. If you have any plants outdoors that could be harmed by the cold you should take precaution to either cover them, or if possible bring them indoors. If you do cover any plants be sure to remove the covering after sunrise Monday morning.
