Police investigate shooting at SE Atlanta convenience store

Atlanta police are on the scene of a shooting in the Lakewood Heights neighborhood of southeast Atlanta on Monday afternoon. Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Jonesboro Road SE just after 12:18 p.m. following reports of a person shot. The investigation is currently centered at the Little Bear Food Mart, a location that has seen several recent criminal incidents.
