Commissioners to vote on new hospital in Fulton County

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve the construction and funding of a new hospital in South Fulton. The new facility aims to address what has been described as a "medical desert" in the southern and central parts of the county following the closures of Atlanta Medical Center and a hospital in East Point.
