Nelly talks Big League Wiffle Ball debut in Atlanta
"It’s getting hot in here" at Assembly Studios, and it has nothing to do with the Georgia summer weather. The plastic bats are cracking, the crowd is roaring, and a childhood backyard classic has officially leveled up into a major professional enterprise. Big League Wiffle Ball (BLW) launched its 2026 season, Sunday, June 7, with a massive star-studded rollout. But the real electric energy on the lot belongs to the league's brand-new hometown expansion franchise, the Atlanta Ballers. Co-owned by Falcons legend Julio Jones and Grammy-winning hip-hop icon Nelly, the Ballers just made their highly anticipated debut against the league-leading Los Angeles Naturals.
