Fentanyl sold at Forest Park farmers market stand

Federal agents have arrested Luis Sanchez-Acevedo for allegedly using a fruit and vegetable stand at the Forest Park farmers market as a front for a major drug operation. Prosecutors say the 41-year-old sold approximately 3,000 counterfeit "M-30" pills—laced with both fentanyl and xylazine (the potent animal sedative known as "tranq")—between September and October 2025.
