Man arrested for gunfire near 4th of July fireworks show
A man is behind bars after allegedly unleashing a barrage of celebratory gunfire that sparked a mass panic and forced a swift evacuation during a crowded community Independence Day celebration. The Avondale Estates Police Department, working in tandem with the DeKalb County School Police Department, intercepted and arrested Tyler Ladet, 39, at his home over the weekend. Ladet is accused of disrupting the city's signature July 4th fireworks showcase at Napoleon B. Cobb Stadium, sending terrified families sprinting for safety.
