Gun storage ban bill goes to Governor Kemp

Georgia lawmakers approved their first bill this legislative season. The measure forbids counties from mandating that gun owners lock up their guns in their cars has passed the house and will be sent to Governor Brian  Kemp's desk for him to sign. If he signs the bill, it will pass into law.
