Daycare murder-suicide connected to Burnsville stabbing

Police in Minnesota are investigating a tragic murder-suicide at an in-home daycare in Hopkins that authorities say is connected to a fatal stabbing in Burnsville. Investigators report that a 41-year-old man stabbed his 41-year-old wife and their 7-year-old daughter before dying from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Six other young children inside the daycare were uninjured.
