Stacey Abrams subpoenaed in New GA Project investigation
The Georgia Senate Special Committee on Investigations has officially issued subpoenas for Stacey Abrams and two other former leaders of the New Georgia Project (NGP). The orders require them to appear at the State Capitol to testify regarding massive campaign finance violations. The subpoenas come as both parties engage in a nationwide mid-decade redistricting battle that Senator Raphael Warnock recently called a "redistricting arms race." With control of the House hanging in the balance, several states are seeing last-minute map changes ahead of the midterms.
