Hurricane Isaias reaches CAT 3 status
Hurricane Isaias strengthened into a Category 3 major hurricane Friday morning, with estimated maximum sustained winds of 120 mph. The National Hurricane Center upgraded the storm after Hurricane Hunter aircraft gathered additional data following the 8 a.m. advisory. Isaias is expected to remain a Category 3 hurricane at landfall. FOX 5 Atlanta Chief Meteorologist Joanne Feldman has the update.
