Why Atomic-6 wants to build data centers in space
Data centers use a lot of resources, taking up space, power, and water. One local company, Atomic-6, is working to combat that by launching orbital data centers into space, where real estate and solar power are free, and the extreme low temperatures provide cooling to the large machines. Our Chris Rosenthal speaks with the founder and CEO of Atomic-6, Trevor Smith, to get a look behind the curtain at how this all works.
