Alligator found in Georgia middle school
An alligator found near the dumpsters at Grovetown Middle School was tied to a pole with its mouth taped shut, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Local law enforcement secured the animal before wildlife officials took over. The DNR said the alligator was healthy enough to be tagged and released, and shared video of it swimming away. Officials have not said who left it at the school.
