Social Circle opposes new 10,000-person ICE 'mega prison'

Newly released documents from the city of Social Circle reveal a federal initiative to re-engineer the national detention system with a massive $38.3 billion budget. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and ICE are proposing a "mega prison" facility on East Hightower Trail capable of holding up to 10,000 people.
