Metro Atlanta K9 units face high-intensity training
In a series of high-stakes drills designed to test both nerve and instinct, K9 teams from across Georgia have gone to the south metro area for specialized tactical training. The week-long intensive, known as the "Mantracker" program, is currently underway at the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Training Center, focusing on the split-second decisions that define modern law enforcement. Our Maria Guzman is on the training grounds where handlers and their four-legged partners are being pushed to their limits in scenarios ranging from deep-woods tracking to high-risk traffic stops.
