FOP Fights to Save Stone Mountain Park Police Department
The DeKalb Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) has stepped in to stop what it fears is an impending plan to dismantle or drastically downsize the dedicated park police force. On Wednesday, DeKalb FOP President Bob Hillis hand-delivered a formal letter directly to Governor Brian Kemp’s office, urging state leadership to intervene before officers are forced out.
