Kennesaw YMCA pushes for summer water safety

As summer temperatures quickly rise across North Georgia, families are packing local lakes, pools, and water parks. However, water safety experts are issuing a stark warning, noting that far too many Georgians still do not know how to swim, placing them at an elevated risk for preventable tragedies. The Northwest Family YMCA in Kennesaw is actively working to change those statistics, launching an aggressive push for seasonal swim lessons and life-saving water safety programs.
