Atlanta police have released the mugshot of Alonte Ray, the 23-year-old accused of ambushing two officers and sparking a seven-hour SWAT standoff on Cheshire Bridge Road. The update follows a violent weekend incident where Ray allegedly opened fire on officers responding to a "shots fired" call at a local apartment complex. Both injured officers have since been released from the hospital as Ray faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.
