Wednesday morning weather forecast
After a stretch of pleasant weather and 18 days without measurable rain at the airport, drought concerns are growing. Today will bring filtered sunshine, a noticeable afternoon breeze and temperatures rising from the 40s and 50s into the 70s. Halloween should stay mostly dry during the day and evening, with mild temperatures in the 70s around 5 p.m. and falling through the 60s after sunset; a few showers could reach areas west of Atlanta. More widespread rain is expected Sunday, with a 70% chance and highs near 70, followed by lower rain chances Monday and Tuesday.
