Trump pauses power plant strikes as Iran war enters week 4

President Donald Trump says the U.S. will delay potential strikes on Iranian power plants for five days, giving Iran time to reopen the Strait of Hormuz after what he called “productive” talks. Iran has not confirmed negotiations and warns it could target regional power infrastructure. The conflict is now in its fourth week with more than 1,000 reported dead. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is urging international allies to join the fight. Funeral services were also held in Iowa for two U.S. Army Reserve soldiers killed in a drone attack in Kuwait.
