Kaomarion Kendrick sentenced to life for football game murder
A Spalding County jury has convicted Kaomarion Kendrick for the 2023 shooting death of 14-year-old Emmanuel Dorsey. Kendrick, who was 17 at the time of the crime, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole plus an additional 85 years. The deadly shooting occurred outside a rivalry football game between Griffin and Spalding high schools, sparking community outrage. Kendrick was found guilty on multiple charges, including felony murder and three counts of violating the RICO Act.
