Musk pledges SpaceX shares to kids
Elon Musk says he plans to give every child in the U.S. one share of SpaceX, a pledge that could be worth nearly $10.7 billion based on the company’s Friday closing price. He has not explained how the shares would be distributed. The announcement follows Anthropic’s plan to dedicate at least 5% of its shares to a public benefit fund and comes as 64% of Americans polled by The Associated Press say AI is developing too quickly. The report also looks at the Trump Accounts initiative, which provides $1,000 for eligible children born from 2025 through 2028. FOX 5 Atlanta anchor Alex Whittler explains.
