Celebrate National Puppy Day with Canine Companions

In honor of National Puppy Day today, Monday, March 23, 2026, the national non-profit Canine Companions has officially gone live with its fan-favorite #PuppyNation Puppy Cam. The 60-plus hour livestream offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at a litter of Labrador and Golden Retriever crosses as they begin their two-year journey toward becoming expertly trained service dogs. Director of Puppy Programs James Dern joined the show to discuss the critical "Puppy Raising" phase and how these seven-week-old pups eventually provide independence to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities at no cost.
