The countdown is at 51 days, and while the "hard" infrastructure like the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center is nearing completion, a "softer" challenge remains: preparing the thousands of people who will be the face of the city. With 37,000 volunteers and a hospitality industry already stretched thin, the spotlight is on whether the "human engine" is ready for the surge.
