Cole Allen in court: Charges unsealed in WHCD shooting
Cole Tomas Allen, 31, made his initial appearance in federal court on Monday afternoon, following the weekend shooting that disrupted the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Allen was led into the courtroom in a standard jumpsuit, appearing largely stoic as a magistrate judge read the list of federal crimes, he is now formally accused of committing. The Justice Department is expected to hold a press conference later today to discuss the unsealed documents and the next steps in the prosecution.
