Atlanta Police locate missing young sisters safe
The Atlanta Police Department provided a live update regarding 4-year-old Zola Cooper and 11-month-old Norah Cooper, who were reported abducted by their babysitter following a 911 call placed late Sunday night. Thanks to community tips, investigative technology, and overnight search efforts, officers located the suspect in the 2000 block of Sylvan Road. Upon responding to the scene, officers heard the infant crying inside a vehicle and safely recovered both children in good health. Authorities identified the suspect as Lakeisha Brown, a woman who had befriended the mother over time but had an outstanding failure-to-appear warrant and a similar prior case in Alabama. Police secured kidnapping warrants and took Brown into custody to determine a motive.
