Paulding County Jail first in state to install heartbeat-sensing

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office is making a high-tech move to prevent overdose deaths and medical emergencies behind bars. Sheriff Ashley Henson announced on Wednesday that the county jail is installing 62 contactless vital sign sensors, making it the first facility in Georgia to utilize this specific technology to monitor inmate health.
